Amidst flickering flames and swirling smoke, the face of Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, aka The Penguin, emerges, signaling the ascension of Gotham's underworld.
This series delves into the ascent of The Penguin, Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, within the criminal underbelly of Gotham City. Colin Farrell reprises his role as the iconic character, while Kristen Miliozi takes on the part of the noose-wielder, Mark Strong portrays the Roman, and Clancy Brown plays one of Gotham's former mob bosses, Salvatore Maroni. Creator Craig Zobel directs the first three episodes and serves as an executive producer. Lauren LeFranc acts as writer and showrunner, with Farrell joining director Matt Reeves and producer Dylan Clark among others as executive producers.
The eight-episode run of "The Penguin" is set to debut on HBO Max on September 19, 2024.
